RateWyn
Your happiest customers already left. Give them ten seconds to say so.
A small card on your counter. Your customer scans it, taps once, and lands on your Google review page. No app, no account, no clipboard.
Free for pilot shops · no card, no contract
How it works
We send you a card
A printed QR code for your counter, till, or receipts. It carries your shop's name and points only at your business.
Your customer taps once
They scan with their own phone camera and answer one question about their visit. That is the entire ask — it takes about two seconds.
They get your Google review link
Every customer sees the same next screen with your review link on it, alongside the option to send you a private note instead. They choose.
Why this one is safe to use
Most review tools ask how the visit went, then send happy customers to Google and quietly route unhappy ones to a private form. That is called review gating, and Google prohibits it. Shops caught doing it can have their reviews removed.
RateWyn cannot do that, because the software is built so it isn't possible: the review link is put together before anyone taps anything, and the screen showing it has no access to the answer. One star and five stars produce an identical screen.
The private-feedback option exists too — but it sits alongside the review link for everybody, not instead of it for the unhappy ones.
What you see
Your own dashboard: how many people scanned this month, how many tapped through to Google, how the taps broke down, and every private message sent to you — with an email the moment one arrives, so you can put something right while the customer is still nearby.
One thing we are careful about: Google gives nobody a way to confirm that a particular customer went on to publish a review. So the dashboard reports review link taps, and says so. Any tool quoting you a precise count of reviews it generated is guessing.
About the pilot
RateWyn is new, and the first shops use it free. In exchange we'd like your honest opinion — what works at your counter, what doesn't, and what you'd want it to do.
It won't be free forever. When that changes you'll get plenty of notice and the choice to carry on or stop, and nothing will be charged without you agreeing to it first.
Getting started
Tell us about your shop and we will set it up, send your login, and get a card into your hands. Stop whenever you like — there is no contract and nothing to cancel.
